"Jupiter" is a finely executed film that manages to take us into the inner world of a teenage girl, faced not only with the challenges of insecurity, but also with the ordeal of her disabled younger brother and her parents' descent into madness. During a discussion after the film, I was surprised that the first comment was one of empathy for the parents.
I even noticed that many adults are beyond help
I had to counter that, in the madness and horror of the world, children are tragically and inexplicably ignored. The director insisted that they should be reintegrated into the “good democratic society” and even forgotten about their horrible deeds (they have good intentions).
