In Karate Kid: Legends, after a family tragedy, kung fu prodigy Li Fong (Ben Wang) is forced to leave his home in Beijing and move to New York with his mother. Li tries his best to let go of his past as he tries to adjust to his new classmates, and although he doesn’t want to fight, problems seem to find him everywhere. When a new friend needs his help, Li participates in karate competitions, but his skills are not enough. Lee’s Kung Fu teacher, Mr. Han (Jackie Chan) enlists the support of original karate guy Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio), while Lee learns a new way of fighting, combining two styles into one for a decisive battle in the martial arts.
